Yet another new endeavor my re-exploration of porous or no-fines concrete an ultra cheap concrete that is made of gravel and cement.

As it is not necessary to coat every grain of sand as there are no grains of sand. Thus the amount of cement ($) needed to make concrete is drastically less. The material does have quite a bit less strength that normal concrete - about a third as much - thing is regular concrete is incredibly strong being able to with stand loads around 3200 lbs per square inch.

So unless you plan to build a skyscrapers or a major bridge no-fines should be more than adequate around the homestead. Being porous the material can also become an excellent insulator by applying plaster on an inside and stucco on the outside. This is of course a test block made about a week ago.
